GUEST SPEAKER
R.J. MITTE
Best known for his portrayal of Walter “Flynn” White Jr. for five riveting seasons of AMC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning dramatic thriller “Breaking Bad,” RJ Mitte is an actor, advocate and philanthropist who has carved out his niche in Hollywood by breaking down stereotypes and changing people’s mindsets with his easy going demeanor and positive outlook.
The Beach and Country Guild and UCP San Diego teamed up to present the 13th Annual Regale in the Ranch — "Red, White & Bling" — on May 8th at The Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe.
Guests enjoyed libations and delicious bites from local vendors and restaurants while dancing to the live music from Lifetime Rocker and enjoying the Americana themed evening. Raffle prizes included sports tickets, a jewelry set by Sette Divini, a signed guitar by Ed Sheeran and signed CD and tickets to LeAnn Rimes.
It was a shining and patriotic night to remember and raised over $30,000 for UCP’s programs and services for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

The 55th annual Dia del Sol was amazing from start to finish, and we are so grateful to every single person who made it possible—many of whom you’ll never see, who ask for zero credit, and are so essential to elements big and small.
There are those who volunteer, donate, and offer their talents year after year without batting an eyelash, and those who have only just discovered us and eagerly jumped on board. And of course, every single person who made a donation, bought a seat, won an auction item, or raised a paddle are the reason why we can do what we do, which is raise as much money as possible to support the work of UCP San Diego and ultimately, our neighbors living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
